Johnson Family Christmas

Christmas this year was interesting at the Johnson family home. Like always there was lots of bickering and yelling between each other, and plenty of clam chowder to go around. This year it was just the seven of us at the house, my parents, my older sister and her husband and son and my brother and I. My brother's friend Clark crashed the Christmas Eve Clam Chowder feed like he always does. The homemade Chowder this year was a little salty, but besides that it was scrumptious and everyone enjoyed.

We then moved onto the presents. My nephew got a basketball hoop which he was really excited about. He's only 18 months, but loves to throw and play with balls, so he was so happy that Santa brought that for him. Due to budget constraints this year was a small Xmas, with less amount of presents. Which was fine because Christmas is about family, and the best part was watching my nephew open presents. I got a coffee pot and a book, and the rest were sweaters. All of the clothing I received was the color lavendar, which was really funny.

Today we woke up and had brunch of ham, eggs and mimosas. We then had a day of lounging and watching movies and tv. We havent opened our stockings yet, but we will tomorrow. Well this year wasnt the best Christmas ever, but it was fun. Cant wait for next year. I hope you guys all had a great holiday too.
